“Home is where you are accepted regardless of who you are. It is where your neighbour says good morning to you. My next door neighbour was not replying when I told her good morning. Now, things are getting better between us. I asked her for help once and she helped me. Till now, we did not face any racism. I am trying to feel home here”.

 

“Going to the sea and how it was beautiful in Syria compared with the sea here is another thing that helps me remember home”.
